It's A Disaster
World Premiere.

Los Angeles Film Festival - It's A Disaster Movie Poster The Los Angeles Film Festival Summer Showcased Todd Berger's It's A Disaster. The World Premiere was a huge hit with audiences!

The movie is a doomsday comedy with the following premise: "Four couples who meet for Sunday brunch find themselves stranded in a house together as the world may be about to end. When Tracy Scott (Julia Stiles) decides to introduce her new beau Glenn (David Cross) to her three friends Hedy (America Ferrera), Emma, and Lexi and their significant others, her biggest fear is whether or not her friends will approve of her new relationship, little does she reallize that's the least of her worries. Before long the couples find themselves in the midst of an apocalyptic disaster, catching them all off guard. One thing is clear: these four couples aren't goint to let the potential end of the world get in the way of the relationship issues they all need to work out."

Todd Berger (The Scenesters) not only directed It's A Disaster but he also wrote it. He took some time to talk with The "IN" Show during the After-Party held at the Hotel Figueroa. Todd brings great passion to his work and seems to let nothing daunt him as he sets out to create. Remarkably, he brings a great deal of sensibility to movie-making whilst maintaining a great sense of humor and overall positive outlook.

Also on hand for an interview was co-star Kevin Brennan (The Scenesters, AgAu) who also co-produced It's A Disaster. Kevin brings plenty of experience to the table. A singer, musician, and dancer (he says he only dabbles but we think otherwise), Kevin Brennan could very well be considered a triple threat; but, nothing in his demeanor would even suggest he feels that way. Gracious, funny, and serious in his love for the art of movies, Kevin definitely leaves his mark on the work he does.

It's a Disaster, a comedy that deals with serious issues, handled by a pro - in Director Todd Berger - and carried smoothly by a great cast. Be sure to catch it when it comes to a theater near you!
